Abstract:
A sheet material feeding device for feeding and carrying, one by one, sheet materials carried from a document tray, comprising the document tray (22) storing the plurality of sheet materials in a stacked state, a suction roller (R1) coming into contact with the sheet materials and feeding and carrying the sheet materials to a carrying route, and a suction roller (R2) and a reverse roller (R2a) positioned on the downstream side of the suction roller (R1). In the reverse roller (R2a), a coating layer (Ct) smoothened to such a degree that the surface thereof provides luster is applied onto the outer periphery of a sponge member (SP) disposed on the inside thereof.
