Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a natural leather-toned sheet material which comprises a microfiber-made nonwoven fabric and a polymer elastomer, and contains a component derived from a biomass resource contributing to carbon neutrality. The sheet material according to the present invention comprises: a nonwoven fabric made from microfibers having an average nonwoven single fiber diameter of 0.1-10.0 μm; a polymer elastomer; a fiber structure; and a resin layer (2). Further, the sheet material satisfies I to IV. I. At least one surface of the sheet material is a raised surface (1) having a surface layer on which the microfibers are raised. II. The resin layer (2) discontinuously exists on the surface layer of the raised surface. III. The resin layer (2) includes at least two layers. IV. The sheet material including the resin layer (2) has a biomass plastic content of 5-100% prescribed by ISO 16620 (2015).
