Abstract:
Disclosed is a sheet processing apparatus which reduces the sheets from sticking to each other during conveyance in a superimposed state even in case of a coated paper with good surface or a film sheet such as an OHT sheet, and ensures good alignment of the sheets on a processing tray. Also disclosed is an image forming apparatus equipped with the sheet processing apparatus.
During conveyance of a sheet (S11) and a sheet (S12) in superimposed state in the direction of a rear end stopper by means of a discharge roller pair (130a, 130b), a misalignment is caused between the sheets (S11, S12) in the conveyance direction of sheet and then the superimposed sheets are conveyed toward the rear end stopper. Consequently, even if the sheets are stuck to each other during conveyance, sticking between the sheets is eliminated before the sheets abut on the rear end stopper.
