Abstract:
This shell-and-tube-type heat exchanger comprises a shell, a flat-shaped heat transfer pipe in which a first fluid flows from an entrance toward an exit, and a nozzle for spraying a second fluid toward the heat transfer pipe. When a point on the surface of the heat transfer pipe located equidistant from the entrance and the exit is taken to be an intermediate point, if the quantity of the second fluid that is sprayed from the nozzle and that reaches a range from the entrance to the intermediate point in the heat transfer pipe per unit time is set as Q1, and the quantity of the second fluid that is sprayed from the nozzle and that reaches a range from the exit to the intermediate point in the heat transfer pipe per unit time is set as Q2, then the relationship Q1>Q2 is satisfied.
