Abstract:
This shield connector connection method is a connection method for a shield connector having a male connector and a female connector. A male connector (20) and a female connector (10) have outer sheath shield electrodes (21, 11) and one or more internal signal wires (22, 12). The outer sheath shield electrodes (21, 11) each comprise one sheet of metal plate material that is cylindrically bent. Slits (21S, 11S) that serve as the boundaries of the metal plate material are present on the cylindrical surfaces of the outer sheath shield electrodes (21, 11). In a shield connector connection method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, in the circumferential direction around the insertion direction of the male connector (20) into the female connector (10), the male connector and the female connector are connected to be fitted to each other such that the position of the slit (21S) of the outer sheath shield electrode of the male connector is shifted from the position of the slit (11S) of the outer sheath shield electrode of the female connector.
