Abstract:
Disclosed is a shield connector with a novel structure in which reduction in heat-dissipating performance due to environment temperature changes is suppressed, and that is capable of stably providing an intended heat-dissipating performance in a shorter heat-dissipating path. A shield connector 10 comprises: a terminal fitting 16 having a terminal connection portion 14 that is connected with a counterpart terminal 12; an insulating housing 18 in which the terminal fitting 16 is housed; a shield shell 20 that covers the outer surface of the housing 18; a heat transfer portion 24 that is interposed between the terminal connection portion 14 and the shield shell 20 to transmit the heat of the terminal connection portion 14 to the shield shell 20; and a spring member 22 that is provided integrally with the terminal fitting 16. Due to the elastic force of the spring member 22, the terminal connection portion 14 is pressed in contact with the shield shell 20 with the heat transfer portion 24 therebetween.
