A shift register, a gate driving circuit and a display apparatus. According to a total channel width and a channel length that are required by an oxide thin-film transistor in a shift register unit, an oxide semiconductor layer of the oxide thin-film transistor is partitioned, and the sum of the widths of partitioned independent semiconductor branches is equal to the required total channel width. The required total channel width of one oxide thin-film transistor can be realized by means of one or more semiconductor branches, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the oxide thin-film transistor, such that the goal of reducing a frame of the display apparatus is achieved by means of designing different oxide semiconductor layers for different oxide thin-film transistors. Moreover, semiconductor branches of a smaller size and a gap between the semiconductor branches may also be used for heat dissipation, thereby preventing the failure of the oxide thin-film transistor caused by heat accumulation of an oxide semiconductor.
