Abstract:
Provided are: a ship propulsion device such that the propulsion power of a ship can be improved, allowing economic traveling to be possible; and the ship. The ship propulsion device is configured by comprising: a hollow portion which is drilled in a straight line between a hollow opening drilled in the vicinity of the center of gravity of the ship and a stern opening drilled closer to the stern than said opening; and screw propellers which are arranged in the vicinities of the hollow-opening side and the stern-opening side in the interior of the hollow portion.
