Title:
SHOCK ABSORBER HAVING DAMPING FUNCTION FOR FURNITURE FLAP DOOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/150794
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to safely and smoothly open and close a flap door while preventing the same from making noise or being broken while colliding with furniture, since the present invention is configured such that, even though the flap door is rapidly closed while receiving a shock-absorbing operation of a shock absorber, a damping operation can be performed by means of a damper before the flap door is completely closed. Specifically, the present invention integrally provides the damper, for performing the damping operation, to a mounting bracket used when the shock absorber is mounted to the furniture, such that the damping operation is performed through an assembly process of mounting only the shock absorber to the furniture as in a conventional shock absorber, thereby reducing noise and enabling opening and closing with a smooth motion while increasing assembly efficiency. In addition, the present invention provides an adjusting screw to the damper so as to adjust damping power, such that the flap door can be supported so as to be conveniently and safely opened and closed by controlling the shock-absorbing capacity and damping performance of the shock absorber in consideration of the size of the flap door, the weight thereof and the like.
