Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of washing machines. Specifically, disclosed is a shock absorber for a washing machine, comprising a sleeve and a piston having one end inserted into the sleeve. A sliding member is disposed in the sleeve; a first friction member is provided between the sleeve and the piston; a second friction member is provided between the sleeve and the sliding member; during movement of the piston with respect to the sleeve, one or both of the first friction member and the second friction member generate friction force to absorb the vibration transmitted to the sleeve or to the sliding member. The shock absorber of the present invention is not only suitable for large-amplitude working conditions in, for example, washing, rinsing, and low-speed dehydration of the washing machine, but also suitable for small-amplitude working conditions in, for example, high-speed dehydration, so that better shock absorption and noise reduction effects are achieved.
