Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing device for a bicycle pedal and, more specifically, is characterized in that upper and lower shock-absorbing means (10, 10') facing each other are installed on upper and lower portions of an ordinary bicycle pedal (2) and are coupled to each other via a fastening member for use. Thus, as well as being simple to install on an ordinary bicycle pedal, the shock-absorbing device can be universally installed and used. In addition, the upper and lower shock-absorbing means (10, 10') each have shock-absorbing members (15) between an upper plate (11) and a lower plate (12) so as to absorb the shock from upper and lower directions and evenly apply the force to the entire pedal when the pedal is pushed. Thus, pedaling may be carried out smoothly and can be done using little power so that there is no strain on legs, ankles, and knees, and accordingly, a risk of injury is reduced and the pedaling can be easily carried out.
