Title:
SHOCK ABSORPTION SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/082352
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A shock absorption system (1) wherein an airbag (4) is expanded by a high pressure air cylinder (5) at the time of collision to the ground due to impossible flight, a cover body (2) is developed to the outside for the footprint (11a) of the fuselage (11) of an aircraft (10), and the airbag (4) is arranged on the inside of the cover body (2). Consequently, a sufficient impact absorption stroke is attained and an impact occurring in the fuselage (11) at the time of collision to the ground due to impossible flight can be absorbed surely. Furthermore, the cover body (2) is developed to spread toward the rear of the aircraft (10) for the footprint (11a) of the fuselage (11). Consequently, the fuselage (11) can be slid smoothly for the ground at the time of collision to the ground due to impossible flight. The shock absorption system (1) can prevent the fuselage (11) of the aircraft (10) from being damaged at the time of collision to the ground due to impossible flight.
