Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shoe lace tightening device for conveniently tightening and loosening a wire-type shoe lace for tying hiking boots or running shoes and, more specifically, to a shoe lace tightening device, which: has a main ratchet gear for preventing reverse rotation when the shoe lace is tightened and an auxiliary ratchet gear for assisting the engagement thereof with a stopper, so as to disperse an operating load biased to the main ratchet gear, thereby preventing wear or damage to gears and improving use lifespan; and allows a stopper unit to be coupled so as to have a clearance such that the stopper accurately engages with the main ratchet gear, thereby preventing the shoe lace from being loosened during tightening.
