Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a shoelace winding device that is small and lightweight, has excellent durability, operability, and maintenance properties, and can be easily used for a wide variety of shoes. This shoelace winding device (1) comprises: a base member (3) comprising a reel housing section (32) that houses a reel (4) for winding shoelaces; a shaft member (7) that attaches a dial (6) for rotating and driving the reel (4) to the base member (3), and is capable of holding and guiding the dial (6), in a movable state between a lock position and a release position; and a spring member (8) having one end thereof axially supported by a bearing section of the shaft member (7), and having the other end thereof always in contact with a locking section (62) provided on the inside surface of the dial (6). The shoelace winding device (1) is switchable between the locked state and the released state for the reel (4) and is characterized by: having a reverse position at which the spring member (8) is most compressed set at a position between the lock position and the release position; and the compression direction for the spring member (8) switching between the lock position and the release position.
