Abstract:
A short distance communication device, wherein a monitoring module is used to monitor the beacon sent by a beacon sending device in a wireless personal area network (WPAN) and control a transceiver module to receive the information sent by the beacon sending device according to the parameters in the monitored beacon, and/or send the information to the beacon sending device; the transceiver module is used to exchange information with another device in the network; a requirement processing module is used to receive the information acquiring request sent by the other device in the network at any moment through the transceiver module when the short distance communication device is in the working state, and control the transceiver module to directly send the information to the device sending the request when it determines that the corresponding information exists in the device. Another kind of short distance communication device, a short distance communication network and a method are provided. Such communication devices enable the beacon network and the non-beacon network to exist concurrently in a WPAN and adapt for the different applications.
