The present disclosure relates to a short-message verification method and apparatus, and a storage medium and an electronic device, wherein the method is applied to the electronic device. The method comprises: acquiring short-message verification content, wherein the short-message verification content is used for uplink verification of a short message; adjusting characters in the short-message verification content, so as to obtain first display content; and displaying the first display content in a first display interface of an electronic device. In the present application, by means of adjusting characters in short-message verification content, and displaying the adjusted verification content, the security of short-message verification can be improved.
