Abstract:
A shutdown device (1) comprises: a pyro-fuse (10) having a busbar (15) inserted into a power supply line (PL) and a piston (13) that is disposed above the busbar and that moves toward the busbar to divide the busbar; and a melting fuse (20) connected in parallel to the pyro-fuse. The melting fuse has a fuse case (21), a fuse element (23) that is provided in the fuse case and is melted when excessive current flows therethrough, and a granular extinguishing arc material (29) provided in the fuse case. The fuse element extends in a direction intersecting the moving direction of the piston.
