A shutter device (1), comprising a base plate (3) having a shutter opening (4) and a braking member (40) having a plurality of sectors (10), (20), and (30) having cam grooves (12), (22), and (32), swingably disposed on the base plate, and opening/closing the shutter opening (4) and an operating member (5) engaged with the cam grooves and swinging the sectors, and providing a load to the operating member (5) to suppress the swing movement of the operating member (5) in an area where the sectors fully close the shutter opening (4) when the shutter opening is fully closed. Since the shutter device (1) comprises the braking member (40) providing the load against the movement of the operating member (5) when the operating member (5) moves the sectors (10), (20), and (30) until the shutter opening (4) is fully closed, the sectors do not come out of their specified positions.
