Abstract:
Provided is a shuttlecock that is capable of mitigating impact when caused to fly and collide with a player or racket, while suppressing the effect of wind on the play. The shuttlecock (1) comprises a base section (2) that holds a skirt section (4). The base section comprises: a holding part (24) forming an area that holds the skirt section; an outer forming part (21) forming an area to be hit by a racket; and a core forming part (22) forming an area more inward than the outer forming part. At least a portion of the core forming part is configured by a three-dimensional lattice structure.
