A side pushing type bag-in-bag packaging machine, comprising a small bag conveying mechanism (1) having a plurality of bag conveying stations, a small bag pushing mechanism (2), a rack (3) as well as a multi-station bag storage mechanism (4), a bag taking mechanism (5), an empty bag conveying mechanism (6), a bag opening mechanism (7), a sealing mechanism (8) and a finished bag pushing mechanism (9) which are arranged on the rack (3). The small bag pushing mechanism (2) is provided at an outlet of the small bag conveying mechanism (2). The multi-station bag storage mechanism (4) is used for storing empty bags. The bag taking mechanism (5) is used for conveying the empty bags in the multi-station bag storage mechanism (4) into the empty bag conveying mechanism (6). The empty bag conveying mechanism (6) is used for conveying the empty bags to the bag opening mechanism (7). According to the packaging machine, automatic small bag packaging may be achieved, and not only is the production efficiency greatly improved, but additionally, the side pushing type bag-in-bag packaging machine may be used for M bags and stand-up pouches at the same time and is compatible with all kinds of outer packaging bags.
