Abstract:
A side step assembly, comprising a framework (11), a step portion (12), a first mounting portion (13), and a second mounting portion (14), wherein the first mounting portion (13) is used for being connected to a side face of a side panel sill beam (100); the second mounting portion (14) is used for being connected to the bottom face of the side panel sill beam (100); and the first mounting portion (13) is respectively connected to the step portion (12) and the second mounting portion (14), and is located therebetween. The side step assembly further comprises a side step outer frame (15) configured to match the side panel sill beam (100), and surrounds the framework (11). A vehicle, comprising the side step assembly. With such an arrangement, an inner cavity of the side step outer frame is empty, the framework is embedded in the side step outer frame, the side step outer frame matches the side panel sill beam to cover the framework, and a step face of the side step outer frame corresponds to the position of the step portion, so that the step portion can bear a load, the distance between the step portion and a fixing structure of the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion is shortened, and the arm of force between a borne load and the fixing structure can be reduced, such that the sagging amount of the side step assembly in a vertical direction can be reduced, and a gap between the side step assembly and the side face of the side panel sill beam can be prevented from becoming larger.
