Abstract:
The embodiments of the present disclosure can be applied in the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a sidelink (SL) positioning method, and an apparatus. The method, which is executed by a terminal, comprises: in response to there being no SL positioning reference signal (PRS) that is required to be received detected during the process of SL positioning, sending indication information to a base station, or sending indication information to a location management function (LMF) network element, or sending indication information to a second terminal. In this way, a first terminal can send indication information when an SL PRS cannot be detected, so as to prevent an SL positioning flow from being unable to proceed, and prevent a positioning failure.
