Abstract:

Provided is a sidestream smoke removal device comprising: a housing in which a smoking space is formed; an item insertion part positioned at one end of the housing so as to form an opening for allowing a smoking item to be inserted into the smoking space; and a sidestream smoke treatment part, which is positioned to be spaced from the upstream end of the smoking item inserted into the smoking space, so as to treat sidestream smoke generated by the smoking item. The sidestream smoke treatment part includes: a filter comprising a bent HEPA filter capable of filtering out the sidestream smoke; and an exhaust fan allowing the sidestream smoke to pass through the filter and be exhausted. The sidestream smoke removal device according to one specific embodiment of the present invention can ensure excellent functionality in terms of the removal rate of the sidestream smoke and durability while ensuring a suitable flowrate for smoking in the sidestream smoke removal device.
