Abstract:
A signal measurement device (100) measures a periodic signal (S1) under measurement. A multitone signal generator (110) generates a multitone signal (S2) including a plurality of frequencies f1, f2, …, fn. Each of the plurality of frequencies f1, f2, …, fn is associated with one corresponding fundamental frequency f0 or harmonic 2f0, 3f0, 4f0 … included in the signal (S1) under measurement and given differences between each frequency f1, f2, …, fn and the corresponding frequency of Δf1, Δf2, …, Δfn, the condition that Δf1 ≠ Δf2 ≠ … ≠ Δfn is satisfied. A frequency mixer (120) mixes the frequencies of the multitone signal (S2) and the signal (S1) under measurement. A frequency filter (130) receives an output signal (S3) from the frequency mixer (120) and allows a prescribed frequency band to pass. An A/D converter (140) converts the output signal (S4) from the frequency filter (130) into a digital signal (S5).
