Abstract:
A signal processing circuit which is configured from a superconducting digital logic circuit and is to be used in the processing of a detection signal outputted from a plurality of superconducting single photon detectors (hereinafter, SSPDs), the signal processing circuit being equipped with: a plurality of transmission paths which are connected, respectively, to the plurality of SSPDs; a branching unit for causing each of the transmission paths to branch into a first transmission path and a second transmission path; a time information generation circuit connected to the first transmission paths; and an address information generation circuit connected to the second transmission paths. Therein, the time information generation circuit outputs a time information signal for identifying the time at which the photon is incident on the plurality of SSPDs, on the basis of the detection signals outputted by the SSPDs, and the address information generation circuit outputs an address information signal for identifying the SSPD on which the photon is incident from among the plurality of SSPDs.
