Abstract:
The present application provides a signal processing method and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: a network device determines a frequency domain channel on the basis of received reference signals from K terminal devices; the network device performs frequency domain filtering on the frequency domain channel on the basis of a filter matrix to obtain a filtered frequency domain channel, wherein K is greater than 1 and is an integer, and the filter matrix is related to the reference signals sent by the K terminal devices and a signal-to-noise ratio of each path in a multi-path channel between the network device and the K terminal devices. By performing frequency domain filtering on the channel between a plurality of terminal devices and the network device, sidelobe leakage can be reduced, and interference between the plurality of terminal devices is reduced. The filtered frequency domain channel can be used for channel estimation, which facilitates accurate estimation of an uplink channel and provides the possibility for multi-user equalization, such that the number of paired layers of a small-packet user is no longer limited by the poor channel estimation performance, thereby facilitating improvement of uplink spectral efficiency.
