Abstract:
The present application is applied to an ultra-wideband-based wireless personal area network system, which comprises 802.15 series protocols, such as 802.15.4a, 802.15.4z or 802.15.4ab, and can also support a next-generation Wi-Fi protocol of IEEE 802.11ax, such as 802.11be, Wi-Fi 7 or extremely high throughput, as well as 802.11b. Provided in the present application are a signal synchronization method applied to an ultra-wideband system, and a communication apparatus. The method comprises: sending a narrow-band signal, wherein a PPDU of the narrow-band signal comprises at least one pilot symbol, and the pilot symbol and the PPDU are used for a receiving device to acquire time-frequency synchronization information of an ultra-wideband signal; and sending the ultra-wideband signal. By means of estimating a carrier frequency offset on the basis of inserted pilot symbols and a preamble in a PPDU, high-precision time-frequency synchronization of an ultra-wideband signal between a sending device and a receiving device can be realized.
