Abstract:
A signal system that shortens an arrival-departure track of a railway station, comprising: a turnout (1), outbound signal machines (2) and transponders (3). The transponders (3) and the outbound signal machines (2) are sequentially arranged at intervals from the platform (6) outwards in a railway direction. The turnout (1) is provided outside the receiving route of the outbound signal machine (2) on at least one side. The turnout (1) is a protective turnout (1) on the receiving route. The distance between an outbound signal machine (2) and a transponder (3) is not less than 5 m and not greater than 65 m. With respect to an arrival-departure track (8) equipped with a safe separation device at the end of the receiving route, a simple and feasible solution in which the relevant turnout (1) is designed to be a protective turnout (1) is adopted, thereby significantly shortening the arrival-departure track of the railway station. A separation receiving route parallel to an adjacent railway can be formed by means of the safe separation device to protect against train overrunning, and the length of the railway station can be significantly shortened, thereby decreasing the amount of civil engineering, lowering engineering investment and reducing the area of requisitioned land.
