The present application belongs to the technical field of communications. Disclosed are a signal transmission method and apparatus, and a terminal device. The signal transmission method in the embodiments of the present application comprises: a terminal device performing division on the basis of a first parameter to obtain a resource block region for a maximum power reduction (MPR) index, wherein the resource block region includes an allocated physical resource block (PRB) and an extension PRB; resetting an MPR value of an uplink transmission signal according to the resource block region obtained by means of division; and transmitting the uplink transmission signal on the basis of the reset MPR value, wherein the first parameter comprises either of the following: configuration information of the allocated PRB; and the configuration information of the allocated PRB and configuration information of the extension PRB. By means of the embodiments of the present application, in the scenario where a UE performs signal transmission on the basis of an extension PRB, rational division can be performed for a resource block region for an MPR index, such that it can be ensured that an uplink transmission signal of the UE has a relatively appropriate power under different modulation or channel bandwidths, thereby facilitating an improvement in the performance of the uplink transmission signal.
