Abstract:
This control/monitor signal transmission system comprises: a master station which transmits data to a control unit and receives data therefrom; a plurality of slave stations which transmit data to the master station and receive data therefrom by means of a transmission synchronization method over a common transmission line; and a terminator which is connected to the common transmission line. The transmission and reception of data between the master station and the slave stations is performed by superimposing data onto a frame which is repeatedly transmitted from the master station. The terminator extracts all monitoring data transmitted from the slave stations, converts said data to check data according to a pre-determined rule, and superimposes the check data onto a check data output region provided at the end of the frame. On the basis of all monitoring data transmitted from the slave stations, the master station performs a conversion into data for comparison according to the same rule as that used by the terminator, and determines that there is an error in the transmitted data when the results of comparing the check data with the data for comparison reveal an inconsistency between the check data and the data for comparison.
