Abstract:
As an example of the present disclosure, disclosed may be the steps, performed by a base station in a wireless communication system, of: receiving a first pilot signal from a terminal and estimating a channel between the terminal and the base station on the basis of the first pilot signal; receiving, from the terminal, a second pilot signal corresponding to an intelligence reflecting surface (IRS) element configuration through an IRS; receiving, from the terminal, a feedback signal of a third pilot signal corresponding to the IRS element configuration through the IRS; and estimating a channel corresponding to a specific IRS element, on the basis of the first pilot signal, the second pilot signal, and the third pilot signal. The second pilot signal is an uplink pilot signal and the third pilot signal is a downlink pilot signal.
