Abstract:
Provided are a rotating electrical machine, a method for manufacturing the same, and a balancing putty used for implementing the method with which a balancing putty can be efficiently and safely cured in a short amount of time, a rotor imbalance correction operation can be quickly carried out, and an uncured portion can be prevented from remaining in a deep part of the balancing putty adhered to the rotor. An optimal attachment position of a balancing putty 15X on a rotor 2 and a correction amount of the balancing putty are determined by detecting a dynamic imbalance of the rotor 2. On the basis of this determination, the balancing putty 15X, which contains a translucent material and an uncured photocurable resin, is adhered in an amount corresponding to the correction amount to the balancing putty optimal attachment position of the rotor 2. Subsequently, a light ray 18 from a light source 17 is projected onto the surface of the adhered portion, and the light ray 18 is transmitted through the translucent material so that the photocurable resin at the deep part is irradiated and completely cured.
