Title:
SILICIDE ALLOY MATERIAL AND ELEMENT IN WHICH SAME IS USED
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2021/235371
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of a silicide alloy material capable of reducing environmental burden and achieving high thermoelectric conversion performance at room temperature, and an element in which the same is used. Provided is a silicide alloy material that has silver, barium, and silicon as main components, characterized in that: the atomic ratios of elements constituting the alloy material are 9 at%≤Ag/(Ag+Ba+Si)≤27 at%, 20 at%≤Ba/(Ag+Ba+Si)≤53 at%, and 37 at%≤Si/(Ag+Ba+Si)≤65 at%, where Ag, Ba, and Si are the silver content, the barium content, and the silicon content, respectively; and the average crystal grain size is 20 μm or less.
