Abstract:
A silicon-carbon composite material and a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The silicon-carbon composite material comprises an inner core and a carbon cladding layer, and at least a portion of the surface of the inner core is covered by the carbon cladding layer; the inner core comprises a carbon matrix and SiOx particles, the carbon matrix is continuously distributed and comprises N pore channels communicated with the outside, and the SiOx particles are filled in the pore channels, wherein the size of the SiOx particles is 0.1-0.9 nm, 0.9≤x≤1.7, and N is greater than or equal to 1 and is an integer. By adjusting the structure and composition of the silicon-carbon composite material, the defects of poor stability and poor electrical conductivity of silicon-based materials can be overcome, so that a secondary battery has excellent energy density, and also performs well in cycling performance, rate performance, and fast charging performance.
