Abstract:
The present application provides silicone rubber, a dust cap and a preparation method therefor. The silicone rubber comprises the following raw materials in parts by mass: 100 parts of polymethylvinylsiloxane, 1-30 parts of a silicon-containing filler, 0.5-45 parts of vinyl silicone oil, 0.2-1 parts of a coupling agent, and 0.1-2 parts of a vulcanizing agent, wherein the vinyl silicone oil comprises a vinyl group having a molar fraction of 5-10%. By using the dust cap prepared from the silicone rubber, the problem that an end surface of an optical fiber connector is polluted by pollutants generated by the dust cap can be effectively solved.
