Abstract:

A simple inverter-control-type refrigerator, provided with: a temperature detection unit (17); a fixed-speed main control unit (12), the power of which is switched on and off by the temperature detection unit (17), and with which it is possible to drive a fixed-speed compressor; and an inverter control unit (14) connected to the fixed-speed main control unit (12), the inverter control unit operating on the basis of the power on/off signal of the fixed-speed main control unit (12). The refrigerator is also provided with a variable-speed-type compressor (8) connected to the inverter control unit (14), the compressor being controlled on the basis of the output from the inverter control unit (14). The inverter control (14) has: a rotation-speed-setting unit (23) that operates on the basis of the power on-off signal of the fixed-speed main control unit (12) and is configured so as to set the rotation speed of the variable-speed compressor (8); and an inverter drive-circuit unit (24) for driving the variable-speed compressor (8) at the rotation speed set by the rotation-speed setting unit (23).
