Abstract:
The present invention relates to a simulation device for performing an artificial cervical spine disc procedure, and a method therefor, the device estimating, prior to the performance of an artificial cervical spine disc procedure, a plurality of landmarks for an artificial cervical spine disc with which the procedure is to be performed, using the estimated landmarks to generate an available space into which the artificial cervical spine disc is to be inserted, designing an artificial cervical spine disc model in the generated available space, and simulating the movement of the artificial cervical spine disc when the designed artificial cervical spine disc model is applied to a corresponding disc.
