Description:

Description SINGEING HAIR CUTTER

Technical Field

[1] The present invention generally relates to a beauty scissor for hair cutting, and more particularly, to a singeing hair cutter for preventing damage to hair. The singeing hair cutter according to the present invention provides a scissor having a pair of heat- emitting plate blades which are capable of cutting hair by scorching the hair, instead of conventional metal cutting-blades. Background Art

[2] Today, most people adorn themselves. In particular, with interest in hair styles, they have their hair done such that they get perms or hair cuts, or dye their hair. During such a hair-styling process, damage to hair may be caused. FIG. 1 illustrates the cross section of human hair. Human hair is composed of cortices 3, medullas 4, and cuticles 5. The cuticles 5 cover the surface of the hair and protect the inside of the hair with their strong chemical resistance. The cuticles 5 have a scalelike shape in which several sheets of cornificated flat non-nuclear cells sequentially overlap. The cortices 3 are groups of dead cortex cells and occupy most of the hair. The main component of the cortices 3 is keratin protein.

[3] However, the cuticles 5 are inevitably cracked during hair cutting. Moreover, when exposed to a chemical material, e.g., during a dyeing or perm process, a damage process progresses in which the cuticles 5 are split and thus keratin of the cortices 3 is cracked and comes out, resulting in evaporation of the medullas. The damaged hair has much damage especially in its end, and such damage propagates to the follicle and root of the hair, aggravating the hair damage.

[4] FIG. 2 illustrates the cross section of damaged hair and damaged cuticles 5.

Referring to FIG. 2, once the hair is damaged, holes are generated in the cross section of the cuticles 5, causing damage to the cuticles 5. Disclosure of Invention

[6] Another object of the present invention is to provide a beauty scissor which is capable of promoting hair damage prevention and hair care effects by preventing the nutrition of the hair from leaking out. [7] A third object of the present invention is to provide a beauty scissor which is capable of preventing hair from falling out by improving head skin.

Technical Solution

[8] To achieve the aforementioned goals, the present invention uses a singe technique that cuts hair by scorching the end of the hair. To this end, in a singeing hair cutter according to the present invention, heat-emitting plate blades are mounted in inner faces of a pair of blades (a moving blade and a still blade) that intersect with each other by performing lever movements around a pivot point, and hair is cut by a singeing effect in which the hair is cut by being scorched by heat emitted from the heat-emitting plate blades mounted in the inner faces of the moving blade and the still blade when the moving blade performs a pivot movement with respect to the still blade around the pivot point for hair cutting.

[9] The singeing hair cutter according to the present invention is structure such that the moving blade and the still blade perform a pivot movement around the pivot point and the moving blade includes a thumb grip and the still blade includes a finger grip. The heat-emitting blades are fixed by covers and a screw in the inner faces of the moving blade and the still blade, and the amount of singed heat is controlled by controlling the power supply to the heat-emitting blades by means of a control unit.
