Abstract:
Provided are a single-fiber bidirectional communication method, a communication apparatus, and a system, related to the technical field of optical communication. A first node being able to perform the functions of sending first optical signals and receiving second optical signals by means of a first laser; and a second node being able to perform the functions of sending second optical signals and receiving first optical signals by means of a second laser. Based on the method, the first node and the second node can achieve single-fiber bidirectional communication by each only using one laser, thereby effectively reducing the cost of optical communication, and reducing the size of an optical module.
