Abstract:
Disclosed is a single screw compressor (1) equipped with a regulating mechanism (3) that regulates the compression ratio of a compression chamber (23) within a prescribed range. The regulating mechanism (3) sets the compression ratio to the minimum compression ratio just prior to halting or during halting of a screw rotor (40) in operation.
