Abstract:
Provided is a site management system comprising a management device comprising: a signal transceiver unit which transmits a request signal to a work machine and receives a response signal which is returned from the work machine which has received the request signal; and a position determination unit which determines whether the work machine is positioned in a wireless communication area in accordance with the elapsed time from the transmission of the request signal to the reception of the response signal and the presence or absence of the response signal. The position determination unit determines that the work machine is positioned inward of the boundary if the elapsed time is less than or equal to a threshold value and determines that the work machine is positioned at the boundary in the wireless communication area if the elapsed time exceeds the threshold value.
