Abstract:
This skin inspection device is provided with: a cylindrical skin abutting means 1 for abutting a tip 11 against the skin of a subject; an optical means 2 that is stored in the cylindrical body of the skin abutting means 1, that shifts the position of an object-side focus point 21a inside the tip 11 of the cylindrical body, and that is formed by an optical system 21 including the tip 11 at a depth of field; and an imaging means 3 that is formed by an imaging element 31 for converting light emitted from the optical means 2 into an electrical signal and that is configured by disposing the imaging element 31 at the image-side focus point 21b of the optical system 21. A wide imaging region on the skin surface of the subject is imaged by a large image circle. It is possible to capture the wide imaging region with high accuracy over the entire region from the surface of the skin to a deep region. In particular, the depth of field can be adapted without adjusting the focus point at all, and the state of the skin of the subject can be inspected highly accurately.
