Abstract:
A sleep assistance device (100) includes a biometric data acquisition unit (101), an inference information generation unit (102), and a driving control unit (103). The biometric data acquisition unit (101) acquires biometric data from sleepwear. The sleepwear includes a biometric sensor which is in contact with a certain part of a person and measures biometric data, and a driving device that imparts a prescribed physical stimulation for encouraging the person to sleep. The inference information generation unit (102) generates inference information in which the sleeping state of the person is inferred on the basis of trends in the biometric data. The driving control unit (103) controls the driving device by outputting an instruction signal based on the inference information.
