Abstract:
The present specification provides a sleep assisting device comprising: a flow path part providing a movement path in which a gas flows; a flow velocity adjustment part for transferring a first gas into the flow path part from the outside; a supply adjustment part for adjusting the amount of carbon dioxide supplied to the flow path part; an injection port connected to the flow path part and for providing, to the outside, a second gas in which the carbon dioxide supplied to the flow path part is mixed with the first gas; a distance detection part for obtaining a distance indication value associated with the distance between the injection port and a subject; and a control part for controlling the flow velocity adjustment part so as to adjust the amount of first gas transferred into the flow path part, and controlling the supply adjustment part so as to adjust the supply amount, wherein the control part controls the supply adjustment part such that carbon dioxide is supplied to the flow path part if the distance indication value obtained by the distance detection part is greater than a first reference value and smaller than a second reference value.
