Abstract:
A sleeve-integrated umbrella, comprising: an umbrella sleeve (202) having an opening at an upper portion thereof and a bottom and a bottom sleeve hole (20208) at a lower portion thereof, a shaft (104) passing through the sleeve (202) via the hole, and the sleeve being slidable along the shaft; a sleeve positioning mechanism (201) connected to a rib runner (103); and a sleeve positioning portion (20104) associated with the sleeve (202). When opening the umbrella, the entire sleeve (202) moves upwards and away from a handle (105) and stops at an upper middle portion of the shaft (104) under the action of the sleeve positioning mechanism (201). When the umbrella is closed and sealed, rainwater remaining on the canopy (101) is sealed in the sleeve. Umbrella operation comprises: step 1, opening the sleeve and pulling the shaft (104) outwards; step 2, pulling the sleeve (202) downwards until the upper opening thereof is at the farthest end from a folding position of ribs (102); step 3, opening the canopy (101); and performing the above steps in reverse to close the umbrella.
