Abstract:

A slide door device (1), wherein a first lower frame (3) is provided below a first doorway (1a) and a second lower frame is provided below a second doorway (6a). Either the upper part or the lower part of the first doorway (1a) is provided with a light emitter, and the light emitter applies light to a light application surface (P) which is that surface of the second lower frame (8) which faces the first lower frame. The other is provided with a light receiver (15) for receiving the light emitted from the light emitter (13) and reflected by the light application surface (P). A determination controlling section determines whether or not an obstacle is present by detecting whether or not the light emitted from the light emitter (13) and reflected by the light application surface (P) is received by the light receiver (15).
