Abstract:
A slide fastener (1) according to the present invention is provided with a separable retainer (20), wherein: an insertion pin (30) of the separable retainer (20) includes an insertion pin main body portion (31), an element insertion portion (33), and an engaging protruding portion (34) which protrudes in a first width direction from an end portion of the insertion pin main body portion (31); a first side edge portion (31a) of the insertion pin main body portion (31) has a narrowed shape in which a central portion thereof in the length direction is recessed toward a second width direction side; and an inner wall portion of an insertion pin accommodating portion (51) of a box body (50) includes an opposing side wall portion (51a) which opposes the insertion pin main body portion (31), and an engaging recessed portion (52) which is provided in the opposing side wall portion (51a) and into which the engaging protruding portion (34) is inserted. As a result, the lateral pulling strength of the slide fastener (1) can be improved, and left and right element rows (12) can be made less liable to become unmeshed.
