Abstract:
The present invention comprises a pair of element rows 16 consisting of a plurality of fastener elements 14 attached to mutually opposing core strings 12a along a lengthwise direction of a left-right pair of fastener tapes 12. The fastener elements 14 each include: a tape attachment part 26 that is attached to the fastener tape 12; and a joining part 24 that protrudes from the core string 12a of the fastener tape 12. In a state in which the mutually opposing left-right pair of fastener elements 14 have been joined, center lines 26CL of the tape attachment parts 26 of the left-right pair of fastener elements 14 substantially coincide with each other. A pair of joining surfaces 24a, 24b of the joining part 24 are provided with: joining convex parts 22, 40 that protrude from the joining surfaces 24a, 24b; and wall parts 36, 42 that are formed at positions on the tape attachment part 26 side relative to the joining convex parts 22, 40, and that surround the joining convex parts 22, 40. Accommodation spaces 38, 44 are formed between the joining convex parts 22, 40 and the wall parts 36, 42. In a state in which the left-right pair of fastener elements 14 have been joined, the joining convex part 22, 40 of one is inserted into the accommodation space 38, 44 of the other.
