Abstract:
A package, such as a flexible bag (10), having a resealable, reclosable zipper closure mechanism (20), opening and closing of which is accomplished by a slider device (30) mounted on the zipper mechanism. A tamper-evident structure, such as a peel seal (40) , is provided on the interior of the package between the zipper closure and the product retention volume. A second peel seal (40) is provided between the zipper closure and environment surrounding the flexible package. Methods for making and using the dual peep seal zipper closure are described.
