Abstract:
A slider for a slide fastener is provided which comprises a closing member that has a fixing structure not easily visible from outside and which lends integrity to the overall appearance of a tab linking part, which includes the closing member. The slider (1) is provided with a tab linking part (30) disposed on the upper surface (11a) of an upper wing plate (11) of the slider body (10). The tab linking part (30) includes a cantilevered tab linking post (31) which at one end (31a) is fixed to one end in the longitudinal direction of the upper surface (11a) of the upper wing plate (11), and which at the other end (31b) is spaced away from the upper surface (11a) at the other end in the longitudinal direction; and a closing member (40) which is attached between said other end (31b) of the tab linking post (31) and the upper surface (11a) of the upper wing plate (11). The slider body (10) includes a fixing unit (20) which is provided on the upper surface (11a) of the upper wing plate (11) and which is for fixing the closing member (40). The closing member (40) includes an outside part (41) which, in a state attached on the upper surface (11a) of the slider body (10), defines the outside surface (41a) that is faces the side opposite the aforementioned one end (31a), and an engaging part (42) which is disposed on the side of the one end (31a) relative to the outside part (41) and which can engage with the fixing part (20).
